Who is Lazie.C? 

 

I am an american independent underground artist. From des Moines, IA.

Over 20 years self taught  in audio recording, and mixing and still learning. 

I have currently been recording, and mixing for local underground artist.

Local artist I have worked with include Rypt the ripper, Hoozia, Sinister Karnie,

Kornfield Karnies, and others.

To this day, I have released numerous projects and toured with well-known

artists such as Wrekonize from Mayday (signed to Strange Music) and even Johnny Richter from Kottonmouth Kings.  I am influenced by the likes of Cypress Hill, Wiz Khalifa, Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid and many more. 

I can’t tell you what year or who was the first artist or group I listened to.  I remember when I was a kid, the only memories I can remember from elementary school. I had this friend Joe.  He lived with his dad I used to go over to Joe’s house. 

We would watch this show on tv called “Yo Mtv Raps”.  From the first drum beat I was hooked.  This was some time in the late 80’s early 90’s, fast forward to about 1999-2000.  I was in a record store at the mall looking for more than likely ICP in the racks. 

As I was looking through the racks I come across a computer software called Hip Hop Ejay.  That was the start of my recording and beat making.
